We are delighted to return to the Lutheran Hall to present a concert of new works for bass flute with Bill Dowdall on Monday 26th of February in the Lutheran Hall.
5 new works by ICC composers Darragh Kelly, Alan Barclay, Jenn Kirby, Daniel Reid and Sinéad Finegan and pieces by Ian Wilson, Toru Takemitsu, John Buckley and Solfa Carlisle.
Dublin born William Dowdall, one of Ireland’s leading musicians, combines a busy career as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher.
Bill Dowdall presents an open workshop on new pieces written for Bass flute ahead of his solo concert on the 26th of February in the Lutheran Hall.

Join ICC and the RTÉ ConTempo Quartet for the final installment of the In Dialogue series in the Wood Quay Venue on the 26th January at 7pm where they will perform Igor Stravinsky's Three Pieces for Quartet along with 6 new works by ICC members in response.

This will be the first brass quintet concert the collective has hosted in over 5 years.

The ICC is delighted to feature award winning musicians Chris Moriarty Pearson and Yseult Cooper Stockdale in a unique concert of new works for clarinet and cello in the Lutheran Hall, Adelaide Road on the 2nd November at 8pm.
New works by Katie Bamford, Sinead Finegan, Peter Leavy, Ben McHugh, Susan Geaney and Alan Perrin will be premiered.
Chris and Yseult will also perform solo pieces on their respective instruments.
Dr. Kevin O' Connell, head of the composition department at the RIAM, will present a free talk on writing for stringed instruments in the Boydell Room (top floor) of House 5, Trinity College Dublin on Tuesday 24th October from 6–7pm.
Kevin will discuss various compositional techniques for string quartet writing ahead of our concert with the Contempo Quartet next January 30th 2018.
Alex Petcu and Brian Dungan perform Steve Reich's Nagoya Marimbas and 6 newly written works in response. The concert takes place in Woodquay venue on the 23rd October at 7pm.

Flautist Lina Andonovska will present a free talk on writing for woodwind instruments in the Boydell Room (top floor) of House 5, Trinity College Dublin on Monday 11th September from 6–8pm.
Workshop Outline: This is an interactive workshop with a focus on composition for a wind instrument and composer/performer collaboration.
Trumpeter David Collins will present a free talk on writing for brass instruments in the Boydell Room (top floor) of House 5, Trinity College Dublin on Monday 4th September from 6–8pm.
Workshop Outline: This is an interactive workshop with a focus on composition for a brass instrument and composer/performer collaboration. David will perform practical demonstrations on the trumpet and also field questions on any writing issues concerning Trombone, Horn and Tuba.
