My name is Tessa Crosbie and I’ve recently been accepted as a member of the ICC! I have been studying music since the age of five years old when I started my singing lessons in Co. Wexford, from this I entered a range of local competitions and began my RIAM Grade exams. I also got involved in the dramatic arts and did speech exams through LAMDA. Throughout my whole childhood into my teenage years my main focus was music and dramatic arts so it was no surprise that I decided to study a B.A Honours degree in Waterford Institute of Technology (now known as South East Technological University as of May 2022). Here I studied a range of music modules including 3 years of composition which I loved! As I went into 4th year I chose Classical Performance as I am a coloratura soprano singing for my major and Dissertation for my minor. My biggest achievement from this degree is being awarded the Bridget Doolan award of 2022 for performance excellence! As for my future education, I plan to do a masters in Education and get involved in as many musical opportunities as I can, which is why I am grateful to be a new member here at the ICC!
