Her (Roisín Walters) programme juxtaposes old and new, her instrument and technique the one constant, exploring its range and expressive power as well as hinting at its history and culture.
— Michael Lee, GoldenPlec
Between these last two new pieces, (Claire) Duff introduces the earliest piece in the programme, the ‘Passacaglia’ from Biber’s Mystery Sonatas, an outstanding and inspiring work which she plays to mesmerising effect.
— Michael Lee, GoldenPlec
In the spotlight for this concert was Zoe Conway, who radiated an infectious ease and openness as she delivered a masterclass in contemporary fiddle playing.
— Matthew Rafter, GoldenPlec
