Niall Tormey

Niall Tormey (b.1992) is an Irish composer based in Westmeath. His music has been performed across Ireland as well as overseas. He holds a BMus and a Masters in Composition from Maynooth University. He was the winner of the inaugural Irish Heritage Music Bursary for Composition in 2019 with his piece ‘Give Me Your Hand and Come What May’ for Harp and Flute, and he recently won the 2020 West Cork Chamber Music Festival Composition Competition for his piece ‘Kreatura’ for string quartet.
