Néstor Romero Clemente (b. 1992) is a music composer, filmmaker and creative based in Dublin. Néstor began studying Violin, Harmony and Music Theory at the age of 7. He holds a BA inn Musicology and History from the University College Roosevelt (Utrecht University) and an MA in scoring music for film from Pulse College Dublin – Dublin Technological University / Conservatory of Music and Drama where he was awarded the Conrad Pope Scholarship in 2017, graduating with first class honours in 2018. Néstor has been a student of Dr. Albert Clement, Conrad Pope, Andy Hill, Christopher Young, Dr. Garrett Sholdice, Dr. Ciaran Crilly, Dr. Linda Buckley, Dr. Natasa Paulberg
As a composer, Néstor has credits with Netflix, KBS, A3Media, TV3, Magno Entertainment, Sula Films and Naduku Studios. His music has been performed and recorded by ensembles throughout Europe including Zeeuwse Kammerorkest, the West European Symphony Orchestra, the O’Carolan Ensemble and the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra. Throughout the years, Néstor has worked and collaborated with numerous artists including Santiago Alvarado,, Film-maker Patricia Delsa, director and producer Joaquin Oristrell and, singer-songwriter Naomi Wachira. Néstor is often involved in projects of multi-media journalism, both as a filmmaker and a composer particularly with Are We Europe and European Press Prize.
In September 2018, Nestor co-founded along with ten other composers and friends, Sonic Gate Studios, and international studio-collective of composers based in Dublin.
