...the Irish Composers’ Collective (ICC) has staked its ground on the concert scene in Ireland.. a unitary ambition: to progress themselves as composers and the community of music in their country.
— Liam Cagney, The Journal of Music, 1st February, 2010

The Irish Composers' Collective (formerly the Young Composers’ Collective) was founded in 2003 and is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing Irish composers with a community for information, education and the pooling of resources in order to create concerts of their music with professional musicians.

In particular, the Irish Composers' Collective strives to further the professional development of their members at an early stage in their careers and it has over 70 members from backgrounds as diverse as jazz, electronica and traditional music.

The ICC is a ready-made community of creators, performers, and listeners, and they are blazing a trail for 21st-century music in Ireland.
