Philip Parker

Philip is a Belfast based composer. He received his B Hon Music degree in MMU and his MPhil in Composition in Trinity College Dublin.
His compositions are notable for drawing on the extremities of sound, exploring the limitless possibilities of an instrument, stemming from his own performance background, experimenting with the more unusual sonic possibilities of the guitar.
Philip is pursuing a career in music education, teaching music at primary school level and privately.
He is currently collaborating with Belfast based choreographer Gary Rowntree on a contemporary dance project to premiered in April 2015.
