Dr. Lindsey Vincent (b. 1991) is a composer, percussionist, and educator from Nashville, Tennessee, USA. In 2014, she graduated cum laude with a BSc in music education from Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee. She attended Trinity College Dublin from 2016-2021; during this time she obtained a MPhil in music composition (2:1) and a PhD in music composition under the supervision of Dr. Evangelia Rigaki.

Lindsey’s compositions vary in style – she enjoys experimenting with pandiatonicism, extended techniques, unique instrumentation/ensemble balance, and unification of un-related genres. Over the last several years, Lindsey has had the privilege of working alongside some fantastic composers and performers, including but not limited to Michelle O’Rourke, David Adams, Elizabeth Hilliard, Bill Dowdall, Richard O’Donnell, Martin Johnson, Kate Ellis, Isabelle O’Connell, Cormac O’hAodáin, Tonnta, and The Mornington Singers (directed by Dr. Orla Flanagan).

In addition to composing, Lindsey has been a percussion instructor and custom composer/arranger for over 10 years to several competition-winning high school marching bands in the US. She has also been a percussion instructor and front ensemble composer for the Beeches Performance Ensemble in Birmingham, UK for the past three years and a mallet clinician for the British Youth Band Association’s Train the Trainer in 2019. Lindsey was also the secretary for the Irish Composers' Collective for over two years.
