Donal Mac Erlaine

Donal Mac Erlaine is a Dublin based guitarist and composer. He attained a first-class honours master’s degree from UCD, where his thesis focussed on the use of Jewish modes in the music of Dmitri Shostakovich. His studies also included composition and piano performance. Since finishing his studies in 2004, Donal has worked as an orchestral arranger, classical guitarist and music teacher. He has composed for film and theatre and performed with Stomach Box Theatre Co., and Sideshow Productions, in addition to being a soloist. He holds a diploma in Classical Guitar Teaching form the RIAM, is also a writer on music and a radio presenter for Curious Broadcast.
